Being a mindful women

Mindfulness is being aware of yourself others and your surroundings. Practice these 4 steps everyday:  Paying attention Living in the moment Simplifying Breathing Paying attention-  Focus your attention on someone or something Concentrated awareness leads to better understanding of and appreciation for that which we are attentive to. Truly listening to someone and hearing them at a meaningful level adds richness and depth to the relationship. By compassionately focusing your attention on another it’s possible to understand their thoughts, feelings, desires and doubts more intimately. Living in the moment Means forgiving the past We all are “consciously” living in the moment Although we can remain mindful of the here and now when we consciously project our thoughts into the future or decide to move back in time to review the past, mindfulness is calming, grounding and centering Simplifying Our time and energy gets spent on things and people that aren’t needed. It’s easy to be there for everyone else but yourself.  It’s easier said than done but you need to have a mind set of Taking it one step at a time.  Mindful living helps us opt of the of serenity of simplicity and the blessing of feeling underwhelmed and gives us the ability to recognize whatever comfort is available. Breathing Breath is the bridge between your body and mind.  By focusing on your breath you can easily bring yourself into the here and now and attune mind and heart to your physical body. Attention to breath Deepening of breath Directing the breath Breathing is the first thing we do after birth and the last thing we do before death. Using your breath consciously and constructively enhance your vitality, increases daily joy, opens you more fully to love and brings you richly and deeply into a practice of mindfulness.  

Practice these steps everyday and you’ll see a change in your life by restoring calm, finding balance and opening your heart.
