Apple Pie Jello Shots

Ingredients:
2 cups apple cider (not apple cider vinegar!)
2 envelopes (.25 ounces each) unflavored gelatin
1 & 1/2 cups apple whiskey , chilled
whipped cream , for serving, optional
cinnamon , for serving, optional
Instructions:
Place the plastic jello shot cups on a sheet pan without the lids on. Set aside.
Add the apple cider to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Sprinkle the gelatin over the top of the liquid and stir to completely dissolve.
Remove the mixture from the heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
Stir the chilled apple whiskey into the gelatin mixture.
Pour the liquid into your little plastic cups, making sure not to overfill them.
Transfer sheet pan of jello shots into the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or until they have completely set.
Put lids on cups and keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
Garnish with some homemade whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon to dress them up, if desired.
