The coffee grounds has coarse particles that works as an exfoliating agent. The dead cells gets added on to the skin which must be cleared up before it damages the skin. The dirt might also be piled up on the skin. Only cleansing is not sufficient to ward off these impurities. Exfoliation will remove the dead cells and dirt from the outer layer of the skin.
How to make coffee scrub for face and body: Take the coffee grounds in a bowl. Add equal amount of sugar to it. You can also substitute it with sea salt. Add few drops of olive oil to it. Mix them well. Take a blender and whip it till the sugar or salt completely dissolves in it. Ensure that the consistency is slightly thicker so that it would be easy to scrub. Your homemade coffee scrub is ready to use. Massage Oil for face, hair and body:Coffee is also said to deal with varicose veins and cellulite. The caffeine that is a part of the coffee increases the blood flow to the skin. This decreases the appearance of the cellulite. It also melts the fat cells from the body. Make coffee oil at home using coffee and coconut oil and massage it into the skin to to fight the cellulite.Tighten and brighten Skin with coffee mask:A coffee facial can help brighten skin, prevent clogged pores, and soften lines This makes the skin look more healthier and fresh. Caffeine acts as vasodilator which is said to constrict blood vessels in the body. Coffee scrub can be used thrice a week for better skin results. Mix coffee powder with honey or olive and massage it into the skin. Spread it like a face mask for 15 mins and rinse off. Coffee for Dark Circles
Brew a cup of coffee like you normally would and then scoop out the grounds with a spoon and put them in a bowl and let it freeze for few hours. Just apply the chilled coffee grounds mixed with Aloe Vera gel on your face and also under your eyes and let it sit for 15 mins before you rinse it off. Coffee Lip Scrub
